Independent Medical Enterprises (IME, Inc.) provides an array of services. Mainly, our office provides the service of being a host facility that serves as space for Independent Medical Exams (IME) as an independent party. (Facility space can also be utilized for other uses as needed for things such as Depositions, Disability & Impairment Ratings, and more as requested*.) IMEs are frequently used in claims such as workers compensation or personal injury. We have many physicians who utilize the space on a reoccuring basis, while others are 'as needed'. Our office is open to host IMEs for any provider, given we have the space. Our list is not a limitation and is constantly expanding to include more physicians and specialties. We also provide chaperoning services as needed for IMEs. Please contact us to confirm availability when scheduling.

In addition to being a host facility, we manage the legal expert witness work (such as setting up IMEs, Record Reviews, Conference Calls, and Testimony as requested) for several providers. This primariliy includes scheduling, obtaining records and billing services. For a few providers, we also assist with practice billing management.

Dr. Frederick Strobl is a neurologist for whom we manage his legal expert witness work. In addition, he conducts EMG/NCV testing here in Tucson once a month for about 3 days on average. Currently, he accepts orders from Southwest Shoulder, Elbow, and Hand Center in addition to requests for testing in workers compensation and personal injury cases. All insurance accepted except Ambetter at this time.
